Career Services offers a wide variety of events and programs designed to help students in every aspect of their career development. They include:

  • Career Fairs and On-Campus Recruitment Events
  • Career Seminars on various topics like resume writing, using LinkedIn, Interviewing, Networking Etiquette, and Dressing for Success
  • Career Panels and Presentations on Specific Jobs or Skills
  • Career Information Sessions
  • Career Technology Workshops

Unless otherwise stated, Career Services programs are open to all students, alumni, and the public.

Healthcare Career Fair
March 4, 2020  •  1 - 4 pm 
Jackson Campus, Burrell Conference Center
Major hospitals and employers from many sectors of healthcare will be present to recruit and hire as well as network and answer questions about fields and application processes.

General Job & Career Fair
March 5, 2020  •  1 - 4 pm 
Jackson Campus, Burrell Conference Center
College and high school students, alumni, and the general public are welcome to attend and apply for full-time, seasonal, part-time, professional, and entry-level jobs of all kinds.  Employers from business, education, government, non-profit, healthcare, food services, hospitality and tourism, the outdoor industry, and more are welcome to recruit.

Trades, Skilled Labor & Summer Job Fair
March 17, 2020  •  6 - 8 pm 
Jackson Campus, Burrell Conference Center
College and high school students, alumni, and the general public are welcome to attend and apply for full-time, seasonal, part-time, professional, and entry-level jobs and apprenticeships in professional trades and skilled labor occupations involving automotive, electrical, building, plumbing, HVAC, welding, manufacturing, and other technical skills.  Employers will also be hiring for summer jobs of all kinds.
Attendees can also learn about SCC-based training and certifications in many of these fields.

Professional attire is encouraged, and job seekers should bring fresh copies of an updated resume - go HERE for help with resumes and related tasks.
