Moodle is the college Learning Management System (LMS). Moodle can be accessed through MySCC using the blue Moodle icon.
Each term, all courses have a Moodle Course Shell available to instructors. The college asks that you include at a minimum your course syllabus, and course grade in Moodle.
There are many other useful tools in Moodle that may make managing your course a bit easier. The E-Learning department runs trainings regularly and has a set of faculty tutorials available on the welcome page of Moodle. Staff are available every Thursday between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m. for an open question and answer time called Open Lab. Should this not be convenient, you can request a different time by sending an email to elearning@SouthwesternCC.edu.
Students and SCC Employees can receive direct support through the E-Learning helpdesk. They can be reached Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. by dialing 828.339.4400 or emailing elearning@SouthwesternCC.edu.
