Description:

Welcome to Moodle! This course will introduce you to many of the common tasks that face to face instructors will use to support their classes. If you are a Hybrid or Online / Web-Centered instructor, fear not. This course will provide the basics to get you started (and we will connect you with further training once you have mastered the basics).

Learning Objectives:

  • Perform basic navigation functions such as open a course, add a block, change the layout and turn editing on
  • Add content (like your syllabus or other Web Links)
  • Setup a Simple Grade Center (that will communicate with other software on campus)
  • Add an Announcement or Discussion Board to communicate with your students
