Description: 

Addiction is a brain disease that affects our culture, society, communities and individuals every day. With the rising awareness of the opioid epidemic and all of the residual effects that addiction has in our families and communities, this presentation will focus on gaining an understanding of what addiction is as the research current shows, what causes addiction and what the disease model of addiction is.

This event is open to faculty, staff and students. Feel free to bring full classes, should schedules allow.
