A 1981 graduate of SCC, then called Southwestern Technical College, and a graduate of Western Carolina University, Howard Allman was appointed to Southwestern's Board of Trustees and sworn in on June 30, 2023.
Mr. Allman has worked for his family’s insurance business while also serving various public service roles in the Jackson County community, including acting as Chair of the Jackson County Public Library Board.
His term on SCC's Board of Trustees runs through June 30, 2026.
