Member, Board of Trustees
Appointed by the Swain County Board of Commissioners, Toby Allman was sworn in as a member of SCC’s Board of Trustees on Nov. 19, 2024. His term runs through June 30, 2028.
Mr. Allman earned three degrees from SCC: Accounting, Business Administration and Associate in Arts - College Transfer.
During his time at SCC, he worked as a tutor. He also served on the Advisory Committee for SCC's Accounting program for approximately 15 years. He’s now worked as an accountant for 30 years and currently owns Smoky Mountain Accounting & Tax Service in Bryson City.
Mr. Allman has served as a board member for Rotary Club of Bryson City, Swain County Chamber of Commerce, Swain County United Gift Fund, Smoky Mountain Community Theater, Swain County Community Foundation, Swain High School London Scholarship Committee, and the Swain County Caring Corner Free Clinic. He also served on the Rotary District 7670 Finance Committee, and also as treasurer.
A member of Deep Creek Baptist Church, he is married (Judy) and has two stepsons and three grandsons.
