FAFSA Filing Dates
(Free Application for Federal Student Aid)

SCC Priority Deadline for 2024-2025 FAFSA - May 1, 2024 
Last day to file the 2023-2024 FAFSA -- June 30, 2024 - already passed
 
Students may begin filing the 2025-2026 FAFSA -- October 1, 2024
SCC Priority Deadline for 2024-2025 FAFSA -- May 1, 2024

    


Charge Books to Financial Aid

Students with completed financial aid may charge
in the bookstore on these dates:
 
Aug. 5- Sept. 4, 2024 – Fall Semester
(online orders end Aug. 30)
 
Jan. 2 - 31, 2025 – Spring Semester
(online orders end Jan. 27, 2025)
 
May 21-June 6, 2025, – Summer Semester
(online orders end June 2)

 

Financial Aid Refund Checks

Student’s first refund checks of grants, scholarships and loans, WILL BE MAILED by the following dates:
 
Sept. 17, 2024 – Fall Semester
Feb. 11, 2025 – Spring Semester
June 12, 2025 – Summer Semester
(Summer awarded only)
 
Students with loans - subsequent loan checks mailed:
Fall                                Spring
Oct. 15, 2024          March 11, 2025
