As CoARC program No. 200364, Southwestern offers an Associate of Applied Science degree in Respiratory Therapy at its Jackson Campus and also at Blue Ridge Community College's Transylvania Campus.

CoARC accredits respiratory therapy education programs in the United States. To achieve this end, it utilizes an ‘outcomes based’ process.
