About

Located primarily at the College’s Swain Center, the Heritage Arts program offers ceramics, printmaking, painting, drawing, weaving, and digital photography classes, as well as a variety of other classes focusing on arts, crafts, and artistic process. The program also works with community partners to offer opportunities to experience the arts or assist in delivering art-based content.

Classes

Our classes are centered on process based learning and the sharing of creative ideas.  Depending on the type of class, anyone over 18 years of age may enroll in our occupational classes, while anyone 16 years of age may enroll in our self-supporting classes year-round. We offer classes and workshops for participants under 16 years of age during the summer semester. For those seeking to significantly grow their understanding of the ceramic arts, the Heritage Arts program offers a Master Potter Certificate. For more information, visit the Master Potter Certificate page.
