About the Office of Institutional Development

The Southwestern Community College Office of Institutional Development is the comprehensive resource for campus fundraising as well as the development, submission and administration of grant or contract proposals for faculty, staff and administration. Encompassing the offices of the SCC Foundation and grants, the Office of Institutional Development works to support Southwestern’s Strategic Plan, faculty, staff and students, and can assist with the development of new scholarships or the funding of existing scholarships, with student support funding, the location of grant funding resources, the development of grant or contract project plans and partnerships, the writing of proposals and the administration of awards.
 
You can rely on the Office of Institutional Development and our staff to provide you with information regarding gifts, bequests and fundraising as well as grant sponsor guidelines, federal and state regulations, reporting requirements and accountability expectations accompanying grants and contracts including the steps involved in the institutional approval process.
