In a recent ceremony, the Southwestern Community College National Park Service – Seasonal Law Enforcement Training class celebrated the accomplishments and graduation of the NPS-SLET Class #88.
SCC’s Public Safety Training Center is dedicated to the delivery and improvement of the National Park Service – Seasonal Law Enforcement Training (NPS-SLET) program for prospective seasonal (Type II) commissioned Law Enforcement Park Rangers. Seasonal Law Enforcement Park Rangers may be assigned to one of more than 300 parks, monuments and other facilities within the contiguous 48 states, Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, the U. S. Virgin Islands and Guam, under the authority and jurisdiction of the NPS.
