Serving students from many countries

Integrated English literacy and civics education provides education services to English language learners who are adults, including professionals with degrees and credentials in their native countries. This program enables such adults to achieve competency in the English language and acquire the basic and more advanced skills needed to function effectively as parents, workers, and citizens in the United States. Such services include instruction in literacy and English language acquisition and instruction on the rights and responsibilities of citizenship and civic participation, and may include workforce training. This program may lead to a high school equivalency, transition to post-secondary education and training, or employment.

Individual instruction is provided which allows the student to work at his/her own pace. The student can start class at any time and does not need to wait for the beginning of a new semester. We offer English literacy classes and civics/citizenship preparation classes throughout our service area.

There is no fee for registration or for instructional materials.
