Southwestern Community College has hired Brett Woods to serve as director of the SCC Foundation.
Southwestern Community College will hold a series of barbecue fundraisers over the next few weeks to benefit the SCC Foundation’s student emergency fund.
Southwestern offers the only outdoor leadership associate degree program in the southeast, and the strong relationship the program has with Western Carolina University’s Parks & Recreation Management program eased Dustin Wilson's transfer to WCU after graduating in 2003.
Eric Roland, a student in the business administration program, has been named student of the week by SCC's Student Recognition Retention Action Team.
