A pinning ceremony on May 9 allowed family and friends the opportunity to celebrate with our graduates on our Jackson Campus.
Five graduates received their pins on May 6 at our Jackson Campus in Sylva.
She's the only Smoky Mountain High School student this year to earn an associate degree from Southwestern prior to receiving her high school diploma - and she's excelled all along the way.
Lorelei Garnes, MSc., owner of Digital Buzz Media in Haywood County, is the recipient of Southwestern Community College’s Distinguished Alumni of the Year award. She will be honored during SCC’s graduation ceremony on May 18 in Sylva.
Fifteen students received their diplomas on Monday, May 13.
The Western Community College Leadership Academy included nine months of training.
The highest-achieving students at Southwestern Community College were honored in the annual Academic Awards Ceremony on April 16 in Myers Auditorium on the college’s Jackson Campus.
