- Preference will be given to Jackson County residents but Macon and Swain County residents are eligible to apply
- Must show academic achievement (have and maintain a cumulative 2.0 GPA)
- Applicants are required to apply for financial aid by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
