Member, Board of Trustees
Appointed by the Jackson County Board of Commissioners, Mark Letson of Sapphire was sworn in as a member of the SCC Board of Trustees on Nov. 18, 2025.
Mr. Letson is Chair of the Jackson County Board of Commissioners. He worked nearly two decades at Trillium Links and Lake Club before joining Design South Builders as Senior Operations and Project Manager.
He is a graduate of Louisiana State University and serves on the Summit Charter School Board of Trustees, the Jackson County Health Board, Southwestern Rural Planning Organization and Vaya Health and Juvenile Crime Prevention Board. He and his wife, Brandy, have one daughter.
Mr. Letson’s term on the SCC Board of Trustees runs through June 30, 2028.
