The Basic Skills Plus program allows eligible high school equivalency (GED ®/HiSET and Adult High School) students to concurrently enroll in selected career pathways/curriculum classes with the tuition waived. The program is designed to provide students with tools and resources necessary to persist and succeed in earning not only a high school credential but also to jump start into a career pathway. The program includes job and career preparation classes.

A student must be enrolled in one of our High School Equivalency classes, must attend class consistently, must have adequate test scores and have passed one section of the GED/HiSET test or finished one AHS credit to be recommended for this program. More information will be available in the classroom.
