Over the past four months, more than a dozen members of Southwestern Community College’s faculty and staff have completed the inaugural “SCC Academy.”
An opportunity to learn more about the internal operations of our college, the academy provided an in-depth look into the administration’s decision-making processes.
Four primary areas were covered: Governance, finance, instruction/student services and information technology.
“We were pleased with the number of employees who are interested in learning more about the operational processes of the college,” said Dr. Don Tomas, SCC President. “We hope to continue the academy in the future.”
