Originally scheduled for Oct. 10, Southwestern Community College’s annual Fall Job Fair was put on hold as Western North Carolina began its recovery process after Hurricane Helene.
SCC’s Career Services recently hosted not one but two events to give job seekers an opportunity to find part-time, full-time, seasonal, internship or temporary employment. Resources will also be offered including community nonprofits and agencies, support programs, enrollment opportunities and more.
The first event took place on Nov. 6 at SCC’s Jackson Campus and the second was on Nov. 11 at the Macon Campus.
