Anyone who had a K-12 education interrupted prior to graduation has the opportunity to earn a diploma in a month or less with Southwestern Community College’s Fast-Track program in Jackson County.
The program kicks off Oct. 7, and classes will meet Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to noon. All classes will be held in the Groves Center on SCC's Macon Campus in Franklin.
“We started offering fast-track programs last year, and we quickly realized they're very popular,” said Devonne Jimison, Southwestern’s College and Career Readiness Director. "Dozens of people took advantage of them because the format is fast-paced and helps students achieve their goals quickly."
There is no cost for tuition, books or other materials, and regular attendance will be required to complete the program.
