On Wednesday, May 17 Southwestern Community College’s Occupational Therapy Assistant program held a pinning ceremony for eight graduates in the Burrell Conference Center on the Jackson Campus.
Leah Crowe of Robbinsville, Erin Hyde of Robbinsville, Amanda Canzone of Franklin, Kristen Sawyer of Bryson City, Haley Hamrick of Cleveland County, Ashley Mull of Waynesville, Elisabeth Trantham of Canton and Abigail Shoemaker of Canton have been prepared by the program to work in hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, extended care facilities, sheltered workshops, schools, home health programs, and community programs.
