"Congratulations to Bailey OSullivan, who's been named our "Student of the Week!"

Q1) What motivates you to continue and excel at SCC in spite of circumstances you may face?
A1) I am motivated to continue to work hard in all my courses because I love the courses that I am taking and I know that I need to fully understand the material when I become a nurse. Having focus on the end goal and having the support from all of my professors keeps me motivated even when I hit a wall or get pulled away by work, family, or friends.

Q2) What advice would you give to future students who might face similar situations?
A2) My advice for other students would be to study something you are passionate about, because then you will want to read, go to class, and do as well as you can. If you don't know what you are passionate about yet, that is OK! Give yourself time to figure it out, it took me a long time (10 years) and it was worth the wait. Your job can be more that just a job: if you find your calling you will feel so much more fulfilled every day that you get up and go to work.
