Six graduates of the medical sonography program were recently honored with a pinning ceremony at the Jackson County Department on Aging.
They represent a wide range of programs and hail from all over Western North Carolina, but the 35 Southwestern Community College students who were inducted into the National Technical Honor Society on April 28 have several key attributes in common.
On May 6 at Southwestern Community College’s Jackson Campus, 10 Therapeutic Massage students were honored during a pinning ceremony.

Earlier this month, Southwestern Community College officials awarded pins to seven Emergency Medical Science (EMS) graduates during a ceremony at the college’s Jackson Campus.

As part of ongoing efforts to enhance the firing range in Jackson County, Southwestern Community College has reached out to the North Carolina Department of Environment and Natural Resources (NCDENR) to ensure the college is complying with state guidelines, policies and procedures regarding its firing range in Jackson County.
