Fast-track your High School Equivalency; starts June 3 in Macon County

Student receives HSE DiplomaAnyone who had a K-12 education interrupted prior to graduation now has the opportunity to earn a diploma in just a month with Southwestern Community College’s Fast-Track program in Macon County.

The program holds its first session on June 3, and classes will meet Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to noon with testing on Fridays. All classes will be held at the Groves Center at SCC's Macon Campus in Franklin.

“We had tremendous interest in fast-track programs earlier this year in Jackson County, and we wanted to expand our efforts into Macon County this summer,” said Devonne Jimison, Southwestern’s College and Career Readiness Director.

There is no cost for tuition, books or other materials, and regular attendance will be required to complete the program.
