Originally scheduled for Oct. 10, Southwestern Community College’s annual Fall Job Fair was put on hold as Western North Carolina began its recovery process after Hurricane Helene.
Now, SCC’s Career Services will be hosting not one but two events to give job seekers an opportunity to find part-time, full-time, seasonal, internship or temporary employment. Resources will also be offered including community nonprofits and agencies, support programs, enrollment opportunities and more.
Both job fairs are free to the public and will take place from 1-4 p.m. on Nov. 6 at SCC’s Jackson Campus and Nov. 11 at the Macon Campus.
