Spring 2025 Career Services Events

Job Fairs are scheduled from 1 - 4 in the Burrell Conference Center on February 13 (Healthcare Job Fair) and February 27 (the main Spring Career Fair & College Transfer Fair with full-time, part-time, seasonal, and internship opportunities across all fields AS WELL AS visiting schools for college transfer opportunities through collaboration with UTAC).  Please bring whole classes and send students - creating related assignments, giving extra credit, or at least allowing individual students to make-up class work to attend can be extraordinarily helpful to them as these are huge, one-time opportunities for exploration, networking, and job searching.

Our 2nd Annual "HOMETOWN HEROES" event will be 11 - 3 on April 10 with a focus on military, veterans, law enforcement, corrections, medical first responders, and emergency/disaster management - details here!

PROFESSIONAL NETWORKING SKILLS/ETIQUETTE RECEPTION on February 6, 12 - 1:30pm in Burrell Conference Center.  This is an educational program designed to provide an opportunity to learn and practice "soft skills" required when interviewing over a meal, meeting employers and colleagues in a reception setting, and networking at a job fair, conference, or other social event. Real employers from Healthcare, Business, and Hospitality will participate and lead role-playing demonstrations. Students must pre-registerindividually
